How To Reset Holden Caprice Low Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (WM)

Time Needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tyre, TPMS sensor, etc., and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn or reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your Holden Caprice (WM), follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  3. Press and hold unlock and lock buttons on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter until the horn sounds

  4. Increase/ decrease tyre pressure for 10 seconds, starting from the driver’s side front tyre (LF) until the horn sounds.

  5. After the horn sounds, proceed to the right (passenger’s side) front tyre and repeat the procedure in step 3.

  6. Next, complete step 3 for the right (passenger’s side) rear tyre and then the left (driver’s side) rear tyre.

  7. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the left rear tyre, turn the ignition to the OFF position. Adjust all tyres to the pressure listed on the tyre placard.
