Select Your Vehicle to Find Compatible Tyre Pressure Sensors

Use the selector below to help customers choose the correct McLaren TPMS sensor for their vehicle.

Procedure Type

These McLaren vehicles commonly use an Auto Relearn Procedure, allowing the system to detect the sensors automatically after installation and driving.

Before You Start

Make sure all tyres are set to the door placard pressure and the correct TPMS sensors are installed before beginning the relearn process.

Important Tip

Disable nearby WiFi, Bluetooth, and aftermarket electronic accessories where possible, as signal interference may affect TPMS sensor detection.

Vehicle Coverage

Applicable McLaren Models

The following McLaren vehicles commonly use this auto relearn procedure.

McLaren 540C 2017
McLaren 570GT 2017
McLaren 570S 2016–2017
McLaren 650S 2015–2017
McLaren 675 LT 2016–2017
McLaren 720S 2017
McLaren MP4-12C 2011–2014
McLaren P1 2015–2017
Procedure

Auto Relearn Procedure

Follow these steps to help the vehicle automatically detect the new TPMS sensors.

  1. Make sure all tyres are inflated to the pressure recommended on the door placard.
  2. Disable all other WiFi, Bluetooth, and electronic accessory devices.
  3. Aftermarket devices such as HID kits, car audio systems, navigation units, and back-up cameras may interfere with TPMS signal detection.
  4. Confirm all tyres are set correctly to the pressure shown on the tyre placard.
  5. Drive the vehicle for approximately 10 to 15 minutes to activate the TPMS sensors and complete the relearn procedure.
Tip: If the TPMS light does not clear, recheck tyre pressure, sensor compatibility, and possible signal interference before repeating the drive cycle.
Important Notes

Setup Tips for Successful Relearn

These checks can improve the success rate of the McLaren auto relearn process.

Correct Tyre Pressure

Always set all tyres exactly to the pressure specified on the vehicle placard.

Reduce Signal Interference

Turn off WiFi, Bluetooth, and other nearby wireless devices where possible.

Check Aftermarket Electronics

Aftermarket HID kits, audio systems, navigation, and reverse cameras may affect TPMS communication.

Complete the Drive Cycle

A 10–15 minute drive is generally required for the vehicle to detect and register the sensors.
