Seat TPMS learning & sensor setup
Listed models: indirect pressure reset
The listed Arona, Ateca, Ibiza, Leon and Tarraco systems use an indirect tyre-pressure reset. Correct the tyre pressures and store the new baseline in the car. No wheel sensors or sensor-programming tool are needed for these systems.
No TPMS programming tool needed for this reset
The indirect systems listed here have no wheel-mounted pressure sensors. An AUTOMATE sensor programmer is for compatible direct-TPMS sensors, not this pressure-baseline reset.
If you are buying for another direct-TPMS vehicle, we recommend the AUTOMATE Bluetooth Programmer / Cloning Tool for compatible AUTOMATE sensors. It is not required for the systems listed on this page.
Find the right Seat product
The listed indirect systems do not need replacement pressure sensors. For a different model with direct TPMS, check its exact fitment before buying.

Use the build date, not just the registration year. When rows overlap, match the sensor part number, frequency and market.
Choose your model to narrow the list. Each row states the learning method.
| Model | Build dates | Sensor / system | Learning method |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arona | 2017/03 – 2023/12 | No wheel sensors · Australia | Indirect pressure reset |
| Ateca | 2016/09 – 2023/12 | No wheel sensors · Australia | Indirect pressure reset |
| Ibiza | 2010/01 – 2023/12 | No wheel sensors · Australia | Indirect pressure reset |

What this means for you
Indirect pressure reset
Set the tyres to their correct cold pressures, then store or reset the tyre-pressure baseline in the car. There are no wheel-mounted sensor IDs to program.
Before and after learning
- Check cold tyre pressures against the vehicle’s tyre placard and repair any leak.
- Complete the learning method shown for your model. Check that the warning clears and that all monitored tyre readings appear, where the car displays them.
- If the warning remains, check pressure loss, sensor response and system faults. Repeating a reset does not repair a failed sensor.
